Rate My School - Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology

Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology is the result of a partnership between businesses and schools created to get better science education, mathematics and technology established in 1985, located in Fairfax County Public Schools School District, Fairfax County. Director of the school is Evan Glazer. Legislative body from business and industry and staff of public schools in Fairfax County has worked together in programs and conveniences for school development. In recent years, local business privileged and parents formed the Jefferson. Jefferson Partnership Fund helps to increase funds for maintain and equip laboratories and classrooms in the school. As the Governor’s School for Science and Technology in Northern Virginia, the school is also supported by the Virginia Department of Education. In addition to providing special education for selected students in Fairfax County, Jefferson also serves other school districts including Arlington, Fauquier, Loudoun and Prince William and the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church.
